Forget the fancy bike and gear.Just get out there and have a go!

Welcome to OpenRoads Rally!

Australia’s first affordable & accessible navigation adventure rally

Hosting fun, budget-friendly events for adventure motorcycle riders, OpenRoads Rally is the first of its kind in Australia (and the first we know of in the world). Open to all experience levels and ages, we focus on roadbook navigation and skills training as well as havin’ a wheelie good time!
Founded in 2019 by Jessica Zahra and a group of dedicated riders, OpenRoads Rally takes participants through stunning terrain and arguably some of the best views and riding available in our beautiful country.
When you join the OpenRoads Rally crew, you don’t need to have any experience or fancy equipment - just hop on and have a go! Offering a safe, controlled environment, you’ll be able to polish up your roadbook navigation and riding skills with confidence.
Ready to rev up the adrenaline? Come along to our annual ADV events, a guaranteed wild experience where you’ll make new riding buddies while sharing epic stories and memories.

“As a new rider, having a roadbook to follow and support was very reassuring and fun.”
Turning “maybe someday”  into reality
Finding excuses not to bite the bullet, we all watch the Dakar and wonder – Could I do that someday? How hard is it? - because the jump between being an average punter and doing a long-distance enduro competition seems almost superhuman. And let’s be honest, pretty terrifying. Through OpenRoads Rally, we aim to give a taster of what’s involved, in a relaxed environment, to encourage people to take up the sport and improve their skills.
We are not a race. We are not a pro-rider event. We enjoy letting loose and riding with our family. In fact, we’re a little bit goofy...and shameless about it.Because no matter who you are or where you are on your journey, it’s all about the love of the sport, the people you meet, and the stories you tell.
“The camaraderie & friendship by all who attended was just amazing.”

Uniting the community, for the joy of riding

Just start

It’s better to start somewhere than not at all. All that matters is your “let’s give it a go” can-do attitude.

Chill out

Life’s too short to be serious…seriously! Don’t sweat the small stuff.

Good yarn

New mates, memories and stories, the only thing we love more than riding is each other!

Say hey to the team

OpenRoads Rally isn’t just any old “job”, it’s our passion. Here to serve our amazing community, we’re all in together!

FOOTPRINTS IN THE DIRT

Keeping it fresh, OpenRoads Rally moves locations with every event. Aside from opening up new, exciting terrains, this also allows us to give back to the wider community.

Leaving positive footprints wherever we go, we contribute an average of $XXXXX to every community/township that welcomes us. From accommodation to food and contractors, we care about our impact.
